
Why you are developing pink eyes:
Most common cause of pink eyes is Conjunctivitis which could be infection due to Bacteria or Viruses or Allergic in origin.
Other common causes could be related to
1) Contact Lens wear;
2) Foreign body lodged in the eye;
3) Indoor & outdoor air pollution caused by smoke, dust, fumes or chemical vapour.
4) Dry eye related when eye lubrication of the eye is compromised.
5) Excess computer use related.

⦿ That is Conjunctivitis Wherein the conjunctivitis is irritated with an infection or allergic.
⦿ Viral Conjunctivitis: is most common type of conjunctivitis. It is very contagious. It is usually caused by adenoviruses which are related to common cold, Viral infections usually cause burning, pink eye &a watery discharge.
⦿ Bacterial Conjunctivitis is also very contagious.Symptoms are sore red eyes with a lot of sticky mucus discharge from eyes,both Bacterial & Viral conjunctivitis: Spread from hand to eye contact.
⦿ Allergic Conjunctivitis is caused from an allergic reaction to pollens, smoke, swimming pool chlorine, car fumes or any allergen in the environment. It is not contagious. It affects susceptible population more than others.Here the eyes are very itchy, red & watery & eyelids may get puffy.
Most common ways to get the contagious form of pink eye include
⦾ Direct contact with an infected person’s body fluids i.e. usually through hand to eye contact.
⦾ Spread of infection from bacteria or viruses living in person’s own nose&sinuses.
⦾ Unhygienic use of contact lenses.
